I'd bet that if Kakko starts his career in the AHL...maybe even for a full season or two...we're looking at very different player right now. Not saying any other team would've had the balls to do that given his "2OA NHL Ready" evaluation... and yet if were evaluated as a mid to late 1rst rounder, that outcome would be normal...

I think thats probably an overreaction at this point, but Kreider-Zib would be the two...

Igor and Quick should be splitting time at this point...and if quick wins...he takes over

If we really do have a core that just doesn't play North-South well...instead of continuously trying bang that round peg into the square hole...use a system that caters to that maybe we lose, but at least we don't look as miserable doing it. probably more fun to watch as a fan

watched the highlights...and they were plenty deflating... question is...if this team is pretty much a guaranteed 1 or 2 series and done...is it worth giving up any picks at the deadline?

as average as this team has been lately...it can only help
