What a dumb ass pass. -

I've never felt less upset after a 5-3 loss. Either its a 4-0 win, or they actually play a truly shit game for the 1st time and lose 3-1. -

All very fair. I'd also love to know where Panarin's head is at. -

Great career- had some amazing moments in a Rangers sweater. He can now join his hairline, which retired in 2011 -
At least Panarin is in post season form.. Jesus, what a horrid turnover

Rangers Enter Affiliation with ECHL’S Cincinnati Cyclones
Flynn replied to jsm7302's topic in In The System
Charlotte moved up in the world.. They went from the Rangers to being the AHL affiliate for the Hurricanes.. Due to the Canes owner being loon to work with, the they switched over to being the Panthers AHL affiliate a couple seasons ago, Carolina now has Chicago as their top farm team. -
I'm really hoping a real honest to God structure will make a massive difference. Changing the "How" hopefully gets these fuckers playing with a bit more focus. Gallant was a gym teacher who rolled out some basketball's with the objective of keeping the class busy so he could drink his coffee and read the paper in peace. The old saying "don't confuse effort with results" applies here- I don't think they were lazy, or didn't try- they just had no real consistent program to conform to, and it led to a lot of freelance horseshit on both ends.

This team didn't lose to Jersey because it wasn't tough enough. Adding a Tough Guy is a solution in search of a problem.

Knob is a guy you can't look a the record in Hartford as any real barometer.. He's been making chicken salad out of chicken shit for ages, my dude might be Gordon Ramsey for all we know.

I just want a guy that doesn't act like a High School Gym Teacher a year from retirement who just rolls a bunch of basketballs out in the gym while he sits in the corner drinking coffee waiting for the day to end. I want a coach.. who has a system... who has tactical sensibilities... who holds his guys accountable... who ever checks those boxes is great, don't care what the name is.

Walker Patrick Kane's Rangers Tenure Seems All but Over
Flynn replied to Phil's topic in New York Rangers
To be fair- we probably would have picked some turd with the pick anyhow. -
He's deserving of being a finalist for sure. Its a foregone conclusion that EK wins it, but Fox did have a great season. As Pete said, the local fanbase microscope is a surefire way to point out any flaw. Fans: "Margot Robbie is stunningly gorgeous. She may be the hottest woman in the world!" Local Fanbase: "Yeah, she's good... But have you seen her pinky toe? It's all jacked up.. And have you ever gotten a look at her after she runs a marathon? Jesus man, its rough.. And lets be honest, she ain't getting any younger!"

Panarin is a fabulous regular season hockey player. The playoffs are hard- not everyone can be Danny Briere or Claude Giroux (I have no idea why these were the first two players I thought of) and turn your game up in the post season.. Bread is sadly just a different player after game 82. Outside of his 2 playoff appearances in Columbus which were in line with his RS performance, he just doesn't seem to be built for the grind. He's more Nash than he is Mike Bossy, that's for sure. -

Grading on the curve is the prefect analogy- Kakko on the 1st line is the equivalent of the curve getting me C in Calculus. -

I don't know what you can do here? Panarin is damn near unmovable- NMC limits the field, coupled with the fact the guy is a giant turd in the playoffs is a problem. 30 playoff games as a Ranger- 7 goals and 20 points (.66 ppg guy vs the 1.27 ppg regular season guy as a Ranger) . He's a 1.12 ppg player for his career and a .8 playoff ppg- his Ranger drop-off not quite Nash like, but still ugly. Not even getting into that AAV ... I just don't see a fit to move. Kreider- I will never understand the push to move the guy- he has really earned every penny of his extension and then some. Would he have value? Absolutely, but would you get back someone who has PP1 and Penalty killing skills? No harm in kicking the tires, but he's about #15 on the list of problems for the team and he also holds some NMC protection that seemingly everyone including beer vendors working at MSG has. Goodrow? Sure, he's movable- is the bang for the buck meaningful? Trocheck- He was really shit in the playoffs.. Didn't sniff earing his salary.. But in the recurring theme this front office has mastered, bad deal with protection makes him a hard guy to move. Trouba- can't be moved. On a dreadful contract. KIds: Kid line was dogshit in the playoffs. I've been a big Laffy defender as I assumed the light would come on at some point? I'm not sure there is a bulb in the socket. I fear the trade return for someone so underwhelming would be equally as underwhelming.. Was there any real chance Ottawa would have moved Brady T and #3? If yes, does anyone have a time machine? Kakko is what he is, he will be a solid and unremarkable NHL guy who has a workmanlike 12 year career. Strong, good on the puck- but he's just not the complete package we were promised. Chytil- his deal is fine.. I hope who ever kidnapped him prior to the playoffs releases him in good health. Miller- he's the real maddening one. The skill set probably makes him the best chip on the roster.. But he's also the one with the most potential to blow up in your face if traded. As mentioned, he's still learning the position. Schneider- Keeper. Lots of holes- little resources to fill them. What was so promising went south faster than I could have imagined. -
