Panthers in six. I like a lot of the players on that team (and Maurice) and would love to see Marc finally get a cup. He's been a warrior his whole career (a career he came within inches of losing), and deserves it.

Yeah, I'm waiting a bit too. lol I'll probably get it later in the summer. I'm still working on finishing Horizon Forbidden West after I stopped playing for awhile and Final Fantasy XVI is coming out in three weeks, so those things will hold me over for awhile. Now that I have a new gaming PC I'll probably just buy it for that since that's a game where you probably prefer a keyboard and mouse, no? Although Diablo 3 on console wasn't too bad. I also want to recommend the remake of System Shock that was just launched on Steam the other day. It's fantastic.

Oh, it's the last season? Man, everything is ending! lol That's too bad. I still can't wait, though. I binged through the past seasons like it was nothing. Krasinski is excellent in this role.

So, what did everyone think of the finale? I thought it was very good! The series finale of this and Barry on the same night was something else. Two excellent finales!

Yeah, what Pete said. The Trouba contract is awful. Maybe not Wade Redden levels of bad, but still quite bad.

It wouldn't surprise me. Although honestly, before Kane, this team had done a pretty good job at not doing that. At least for ones that were past their prime anyway. They still overpaid for some players, but the "same old Rangers" people go on about would sign all the old ones like it was going out of style. Drury just went out and got Kane because he didn't cost a ton, although you could argue it did more harm than good to the chemistry and everything in the long run. Sure, they'll overpay for someone, but I'd still like to be able to keep some of these guys together for the long haul going forward.

I always thought he (Sutter) looked like a turtle mainly because of the shape of his head.

Anything is better than ESPN. I love Mess, but still. That network is just a cesspool. I can't stand it, and it's only gotten worse over the years.

Maybe, but it helps. I'm mostly concerned about being able to keep Shesterkin in a couple of years.

Maybe Krav wouldn't have been a bad NHL player if he was more committed and his attitude didn't suck. Because he did show some decent stretches of what could've been, albeit very few and very far between. He was a pretty good defensive player I thought, so that he could do. Yeah, that draft overall wasn't great but as others mentioned, a few of those guys I'd rather have over what we have now for it....nothing.

Man, it's unfortunate that Pettersson deal didn't happen. Can you imagine? Oh, man. But yeah, I tend to be a little more forgiving of that whole thing for those points about Chytil and Stepan. It's still awful, but it softens the blow. I was pissed when they didn't take Wahlstrom. Not only that, but he winds up going to the Islanders. lol

Pepperidge Farm remembers. Honestly, I never liked the guy. He always came off as he thinks he's smarter than everyone else. All he did was (mostly) fuck over this franchise on too many reaches in the draft.

A little, yes. Just imagine how good those drafts would have been if they didn't reach so hard on those top ten picks though?

Panthers looking for their first Cup and so is Vegas, already in their second Stanley Cup final and have only been around a few years. Crazy early success for that franchise.

I don't even dislike the Hurricanes. We have basically no reason to. Yeah, there was a hard fought series last year, but we won. lol Other than the bubble series in 2020, the Rangers have pretty much dominated Carolina for many years. It's always been a good matchup for this team.

I was amazed Gord Clark had a job for as long as he did.
