NBC listed all D men drafted 1st overall. Turns out he was drafted as a D man. Never knew that.

At the combine you could see Wahlstrom could still fill out quite a bit. He looked good testing, interviewing, etc.

 

I think we end up swapping with Vanc to draft a forward. I also think we are drafting 3 guys tonight. No one is on the phone for the Rangers.

 

Hope it only costs a winger or 48.

The way Tkachuk talked about his game during the combine week and with his public interviews was another level for an 18 y/o. You could tell he was the son of a pro and younger bro of a pro. He and Bouchard are innate hockey players who are always thinking the game and getting better.
