  1. Maybe that's why the Kings aren't playing Quick. Since Cal Petersen has taken the mantle of the starting goaltender in LA, are they looking to Trade Quick or leave him exposed in the expansion draft? Some interesting questions going into next week.
  2. That's what I've been saying: Quinn was hired by Gorton before JD came back to New York. If Quinn is gone, it's going to have to come from the top because Quinn has a friendly relationship with Gorton. A new voice is needed in the locker room, it feels like the players don't give a 100% for him due to how his messaging might have gotten stale and teams have adapted to how he randomly changes lines instead of pure scheme moves. Carolina proved that last season in the qualifiers.
  3. That's because Quinn is getting pretty predictable when allocating PP time. He doesn't give a lot of time to the second unit, thus making the PP a little predictable. Put in Laf for a couple of shifts with Strome and Kakko, he's the first overall pick for a reason. USE HIM PROPERLY!
  4. Can't lick our wounds, got some tough matchups next week. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk

  8. Sanchez was a beast today as the Yankees beat the Blue Jays 5-3. Need to bring more runs home on scoring opportunities.
  9. What we don't need right now.
  10. You're right, they really need more scoring depth on the top six. Barzal can only do so much.
  11. Can't miss opportunities with our PP, it has been abysmal all season even with our talent on the first unit.
  12. Scoreboard watching. Boston lost to Pittsburgh 4-1 on 4-1. Irony is delicious. Remember, Toronto? IT WAS 4-1!
  13. Too many runners left on base. You can't be selling out for the long ball all the time.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised since Lou likes to sign former Devils players, but can they afford Hall or Palmeri at their cap hits? That means they might have to give up a prospect and a premium draft pick. Let's see what happens.
  15. Just start Georgie. He usually goes second for the latter half of a back-to-back.
  16. The messaging is starting to get stale with this guy. That's why the players were relieved when Knoblauch was named the coach, he's been a fixture in the organization and he's coached some of the younger guys in Hartford.
  17. It won't happen if Gorton is still here, because it seems that Gorton and Quinn buddy-buddy up to each other.
  18. Out of the first two picks in the 2017 Draft (Hischier #1, Patrick #2), Hischier has looked to be the better of the two. It always comes down to the question of development. Hell, there has been more production from Miro Heiskanen and Cale Makar (Stars drafted Heiskanen #3, Avalanche drafted Makar #4). Patrick so far, is looking to be the biggest bust, out of the top four players in that 2017 draft class.
  19. Avalanche tied the Coyotes 2-2 with Gabe Landeskog's goals.
  20. Nobody should want to play the Islanders because they can play any style of hockey.
  21. And that team quit, except for their first line in that game vs. NJ. They were down 4-1, besides two garbage goals near the end. Philly shouldn't have been in that position, they beat themselves. P.S. Hayes with a giveaway to Palmeri, now I know why we got rid of him.
