  1. Staal has been an immobile defenseman this season, the guy can barely skate. The question is how will we replace him with Game 1 coming up on Saturday?
  2. He does well with a team that has a young roster. Look at what he did when he was the coach for the Sabres during his tenure, even if he didn't win a cup. Ruff is better as a head coach than an assistant.
  3. They shouldn't be concerned about the talent he brings, they should be worried about the cap hell coming their way, even if the Chiefs succeed in spite of this.
  4. The way Kramer left after Newman hit that gentleman priceless. Kramer's like "I had nothing to do with this". This scene and show makes me want to die of laughter. Sent from my SM-S367VL using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
  5. DET and OTT both slipped dramatically. OTT still is picking in the top 3, but DET! My God, was that a fall or what? Now there might be a good team that has a chance of getting Lafreni?re and LA with Byfield. With that 3rd overall pick though, SJ could've used it for a future cornerstone instead of giving that pick to OTT for an injury-prone defenseman and signing him for $11.5 MM for 8 years.
  6. Jerome Iginla should've won a cup and was inspired by Grant Fuhr Hossa was a pure goal scorer and won his share of Stanley Cups after being on teams that went to the finals but lost (PIT in 2008, DET in 2009). Doug Wilson was finally elected to the hall after 24 years of eligibility. His tenure as GM in SJ, let's not talk about that. Kevin Lowe should've been elected earlier as well as Wilson (It doesn't matter about his numbers, he was to contribute his part to the Oilers and Rangers Stanley Cup Wins). Kim St. Pierre was a shutdown goaltender for Canada and would be the eighth female player to be elected to the HHOF and being with the likes of Cammi Granato and Angela James (previously elected to the hall). Ken Holland built up the great Red Wings dynasty with the help of great director of Detroit's European Scouting H?kan Andersson. Now, he has a different situation right now in EDM. Let's just wait to see how that goes. Congrats to the 2020 inductees to the HHOF!
  7. Let us use this to create a new generation of potential Rangers legends. A playoff series win would be beneficial for this team. One step at a time. Keep the course!
  8. George Brett's reaction when he was called out was priceless. But before being called out, Billy Martin wanted the umpire to look at the bat. Classic Billy Martin.
  9. The uniforms look perfect. It almost seemed like he needed to separate from the Patriot way because the message was getting stale and Tom needed a new voice. He has that in a players' coach in Bruce Arians. TB12 has the weapons, the coaching staff, and the uniforms to succeed. Let's wait and see what happens over the course of the season.

  11. A losing culture ruins everything, and that's what happening in Buffalo. That's what happens when they have an ownership that don't know what the hell they're doing and putting unqualified people to top jobs. Does sound a lot like the government in Washington.
  12. 1. Who will be their starting goalie? Link: http://www.nhl.com/news/rangers-5-questions-stanley-cup-qualifiers/c-317153706?tid=317064234
  13. I can see Las Vegas in the west (depending on the all-clear) and Toronto in the east (Need a major Canadian hub city, and have been given the all-clear, also has the Hockey Hall of Fame, major selling points for the NHL).
  14. I respect what MacKinnon had to say for these two reasons 1: We have a great player that the Rangers can use to get strong players in free agency 2: MacKinnon is no slouch himself. Both him and Panarin are stars on emerging teams that will hope to make a run in the Playoffs.
  15. Exactly. Wasn't Stan the author of those awful contracts and terrible trades (Trading Leddy, Panarin, and Hjalmarsson)? Why wasn't he gone? For stability? YEAH RIGHT!!
  16. There was a Forever Blueshirts article about Lias opening up on why he left the Rangers Before Lias left the Rangers, he was so down that he was staying up very late playing video games waiting for friends from Sweden to wake up and come online. It got so bad that he sometimes took sleeping pills and he felt things were getting worse. And Lias said that himself: "I sat and played video games all night, just waiting for the Swedes to wake up at home to go to work. So I could call and talk some trash.. It was bad habits." Since he would've played more, his value would've increased for an earlier trade he demanded this season. Because of his doubt that he could even play anymore, he went back to Sweden so he can his life going again. Now because of this, he's regained his confidence and is "determined to continue his hockey career. I wish him the best in his future of playing Professional Hockey. 18. Especially when Zubov scored the GWG at the point, pumping his fists in the air (I watched the story of the '94 Rangers and the NYR fans at Nassau went Beserk)
