  1. Every time I hear that Danny O’ Reagan dude, I think of Rob O’Gara for some reason lol
  2. I have zero problem with a third pairing of Jones and Schneider so I’d just save money and use it elsewhere. We still would need to replace a Chytil roster spot with someone not name McKegg or Polanski
  3. #Heardle #18 ️️️️️ https://heardle.app
  4. I guess it makes sense. Shesty hasn’t been himself last couple of games so maybe a bit of rest is good.
  5. Can probably throw in another couple of reasons, not specifically Kakko related because I'd rather keep him. Gourde scores at even strength. Gourde also immediately improves pp2 as well. I think you could get Gourde for a mix of picks and Chytil which means you are only increasing the salary by gourde - chytil so 5.1-2.3=2.8. Now if u also got rid of Nemeth and his 2.5m along the way.... Retention just is so Gourdes addition keeps us future proof. I'm notnsure Seattle even asks for Kakko so I'd rather trade picks and a prospect. If that offer sheet comes then you regsrld the picks you just lost on the trade anyway and then have even more cap space.
  6. Come home Yanni. Barclay will pick you up at the airport. Let's win a cup together.
  7. Thank God I came to Chicago years ago then lol
  8. I guess I’m just overrating him a bit. I don’t think he’s a game changer by any means but I think he’s just so young that at worst it’s probably an average contract a few years from now. I wouldn’t be concerned as to what his point total in the last X amount of games on a deep team when he plays 12 minutes a night. It’s more about what he’s going to be 3 years from now in my mind.
  9. Maybe the 22nd? Day after the trade deadline, away against NJ so a good amount to talk about @RJWantsTheCup @Ozzy @siddious @SaveByRichter35
  10. You guys have enough games in hand to control a top 4 regardless anyway
  11. Really? They let you reproduce? Lord help us all
  12. All true but he’s also the third overall pick that had a 30 point season as an 18 year old rookie. I would have figured he would do that deal for 3-4 years rather than eight. Even if 3 years from now he’s a 25 year old 35 point player he still likely commands nearly the same money he will get anyway. I just see a less upside for him to sign that. Club wise it makes perfect sense lol
  13. Very surprised Kotkaniemi signs this. He’s only 21. He can theoretically still get much better and he’s around a 35 point player playing 12 minutes a night. Could be some hell of a bargain 3 years from now.
  14. Speaking of, that was beautiful by Ronaldo lol
  15. This is all why I’ve been suggesting getting a person such as a Gourde or comparable guy that is best suited for a third line spot but can also slot up and down if necessary from injury or whatever. Realistically our top 6 once Kakko is back is fairly concrete for now. We need a third line that can do at least some damage from time to time.
  16. It’s a great trade. Sanchez had to go years ago. his batting average alone last four years was kind boggling bad. .186 .232 .147 .204 His OBP was under .300 two of those years. I don’t care how many of those hits are home runs. You can’t have a team of just that.
  17. That’s a blockbuster trade? Two ufas, one being a defenseman? I guess?
  18. I mean did anyone really believe he wasn't going to do this ? Good for him. Good for the NFL.
