  1. Quinn just wasn't a good NHL coach for us. That's all. He was average and the team was incredibly inconsistent. Maybe in terms of who he developed or not was more around he was good with defenders developing but not forwards.
  2. then you realize the Isles are aged, Devils have no direction, Flyers are all over the place, Blue Jackets stink, and the Capitals, while still good, are a very old team with no goaltending and a ton of money tied up in guys over 30 until 2025 or so.
  3. Isles lose again. Mostly caught up to other teams and still a big chunk behind a wild card spot. Think they have 4 games in hand but 15 or so points behind.
  4. I do agree about faking and forging. Not happening. The rub though is that a player might be having a corrective surgery mid season for a nagging injury instead of at the conclusion of the season if it benefits all parties involved to win a cup. That is kind of circumventing the cap in a way. I think in this case, it’s worse than the Kucherov situation. The dude just went to the all star game and played after. There is no way this was just a freak injury if there are reports are accurate for done for the regular season already. Usually a new injury gets second opinions, wait and see stuff, etc. Kucherov wins a cup and has surgery after the season. That to me is not that bad. The lightning likely knew his injury and the player most likely chose to fight through it for the playoffs like every other player does so when their offseason came, the organization knew Kucherov is likely out for most of the season. We all just didn’t know it. They held it close to their vest. Vegas trades for a guy mid season to be well over the cap. At some point either before or after that trade they had to know Stone has a nagging injury. It probably not exactly a coincidence he suddenly elects to have a corrective surgery that just so happens to put him out for the rest of the regular season and allows Eichel to play. Not forged. Just against the spirit of the game in my opinion. I’m sure eventually the loophole will be closed. Probably the best way is for the NHL to start getting the team dr medical reports of players with significant injuries.
  5. Let me k ow how quiet or noisy those tires are. I’m looking at those or the fallen wildpeaks
  6. Brady didn’t even cheat anyway. Ideal Gas Law and misinformation.
  7. I’ve spent time with my wife. We will see if any consequences come of this.
  8. Sorry then. I just assumed it was common knowledge. There is the same problem often with the Hart trophy and even the Norris. In the end, they go off of statistic’s unofficially with subjective opinions sprinkled in.
  9. I see nothing has changed since I lived there lol
  10. Wordle 237 5/6 almost gave me one…
  11. Lol hanging out it at JWs or liquor store
  12. Amazing how that works eh? Funny, he seemed mostly okay at the all star game lol
  13. You’re on tomorrows word! Are you from the future?
  14. Latest talk is he actually will come out of retirement and take the 49ers job after thry trade Garrapolo since Trey Lance isn’t really ready
  15. Come on. You're taking what in saying way too literal. It's not the Jennings. I'm not saying that. I don't need a source on what's qualified for awards like a vezina or Norris or hart. We all know that. However, those responsible for voting do take a totality and factor in statistics when making their decision. I thought that was pretty obvious.
  16. But it is a criteria to play games in the league. I'm not saying they are anywhere near the same level, but if Jarry is pushing 70 games pushing 45 wins or so he is going to get considered. Hr basically plays every game. Shesty doesn't. I never said it’s the ONLY criteria but games played and work load certainly is. So is strength and important to team. Carolina is a stacked team. Andersen will be a consideration as well. There is no way however that Andersen “runs circles around” Jarry. None of them really run circles around each other in the top goalie stats. Shesty probably would and still can if Gallant starts him in 90% of games for the rest of this season. I’m hoping he does and he continues this night after night. Jarry 36 starts 24-8-6 2.21 .925% 3 SO Shesterkin 28 starts 22-5-2 2.10 .937% 3 SO Andersen 30 starts 24-6-1 2.08 .927% 1 SO they are all right there with each other. Obviously Shesty has the better save % and is a much better goalie than either. He’s also more important to our success than Andersen is. Maybe Jarry but Pitt doesn’t exactly have a stellar defense and they had Mallon and Crosby both miss decent time.
  17. I honestly think Jarry probably gets the vezina just because by seasons end, the wins might be much higher than Shesty. Unless Shesty really start playing more often.
