  1. On the plus side, at least fans sitting directly behind the bench now can see the ice unobstructed by the coach
  2. Scared the living shit out of me seeing this bumped until I finished the title lol
  3. Thank you very much. I believe we had spoken about it before in a PM. Unfortunately for me, my issue is not a disc problem and after 6 different opinions, I’m more in that 30% rather than 70% . I’m leaning towards not doing it now because of all the risks but I can’t really explain it too much as it’s work related and all that jazz.
  4. You. So you’re not getting that pba card no matter how much you rep me. Way to ruin it for the rest of us !
  5. I sort of disagree with that, just because it was a bit of a surprise when Flores was fired. Judge was basically a dead man walking for a while. Daboll had been sought after and denied access to prior to the season ending by other teams. The Giants had been trying to get Daboll long before Judge was even fired. I get the rule but sometimes, it’s just a case of an organization having their collective brains set on a specific target. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/joe-judge-wanted-brian-daboll-with-giants-now-daboll-replaces-him/ar-AAThf0b
  6. Copp, IIRC, has played wing and C. Plus a 3c good on faceoffs would be a godsend. He’s nearly 54% this year from the dot
  7. Banff would be pretty sick from a scenic point of view. Or like a global game in like Switzerland
  8. That day works just fine for me.
  9. We will never know just how close or far we are until we start down the playoff path. I'm ready to find out!
  10. Definitely in the conversation if not the front runner
  11. It’s a bit unfair to take a notch away from the Rangers victory with Knight in goal and not bring up us winning without our Norris winner in the lineup.
  12. I agree with you about Francis but I’ve had the response a few times of Seattle not trading a cornerstone of their build. I’m not buying it though. They drafted to have chips and not paint themselves into a corner or commit to much. They go into this offseason with nearly 30m in cap space and 15 players under contract. They didn’t draft to compete now. I absolutely think they would entertain 3 young roster players or 2 + a pick, retain a bit, and still have plenty of money to replace what they sold the fanbase in Gourde by making a free agent run at a Kadri or Forsberg. Gourde currently has a NTC so he would have to waive it. He came into the league a bit later than most so I’d gamble he doesn’t want to spent his early 30s in mediocrity after coming off two cups. His NTC goes to a modified one though by the offseason so it’s not a full contract NTC. It’s just a matter of knowing if he’s interested in coming to NY
  13. I had suggested a 3 team trade or just with Seattle in hopes of retention of Gourdes contract just so it’s not a 100% finality that Strome leaves. 3 team trade with Arizona could work if Chychrun is actually available. I’d think Seattle would be more interested in building around a 24 year old Chychrun than a 30 year old Gourde. Chychrun to Seattle for Gourde. 2m retained by Arizona then Gourde traded to us at 3.1m . Chytil and Lundkvist to Arizona, we also give maybe our other 2nd rounder to Seattle as well. Or Seattle just gets all of that and retains 50% of Gourde and leave Arizona out of it. We then basically obtain Gourde for Chytils cap hit and get a real 3c with cup experience that can slide up and down the lineup and still haven’t affected our ability to reup Strome after this year. I know it sounds more like video game shit but in this flat cap world, I’d really like us to try and get a cap gem even if it means a slight overpay. Also, at least on LW, LaFreniere is not jumping over Krieder or Bread any time soon so it might be tie, to think of getting a real 3c that also has the ability to play with talented players.
  14. I have him on my fantasy team. Name or not he’s a very good hockey player. Name helps though! I do know Yanni is a pipe dream but only because it would take some serious skills as an experienced GM to pull the off. It’s absolutely the right move though in my mind.
  15. Are you sure? Martinez is back skating with them and Stephenson is out of Covid protocol. Both are LTIR and coming off as well sooner rather than later.
  16. Lol, I’ve been recommended a two level spinal fusion from an injury that is forcing my eventual retirement so I have a vested interest to try and avoid surgery.
  17. figure they are going to be making a trade sooner rather than later to fit under the cap
  18. Yeah, it’s been recommended for me for some back pain relief. Figured it might be worth the investment
  19. I think it's because the game is on ottawa so he had to be tested crossing the border
  20. Yeah and that’s the crux of the issue. I still think though, the team should extend an olive branch and make the first move. In the end, it helps the organization even if it’s just to bump his trade value a bit. Worst things have been done and said before in the NHL. I have faith in the leadership of this group to try and steer Vitaly in the right direction and I also have just as much trust that if they see it going poorly to end the experiment.
