While I get what you are saying, there is a big difference in a guy drafted 28th overall I’m round 1 and guys drafted 1st and 2nd. I don’t think anyone has the same expectations between Nils and Alf/KK

I know we all want ALF to be someone, and he might eventually, but we have to stop trying to massage stats to try to make us feel better. Alf has 29 career points in 86 games. MacKinnon got his 29th point in 44 games. I know time on ice, pp time, etc, affects all of this, but Alf’s stats are more of a self reflection of how far away he is from elite.

Ive been suggesting not testing healthy players as well. Hell, most of us aren't going out there being tested every day. But Im also under the thought of best way to not get sick or feel any symptoms is by being vaccinated and boosted so that you dont display symptoms.

I'm all for overkill of protection if it means helping the sport and keeping those associated one step ahead of anyone getting sick.

Trotz only walked back the part about the whole team being boosted, not on his opinion of the protocols. I’m not sure if there are exact numbers of how many people have boosted vaccinations. I’ve seen a lot of snippets of teams saying most if not all were though. That’s on the NHL. They should be mandating it in the first place. As for Canada, well who knows. They had their CFL season. In fact, I believe the Toronto QB broke protocol prior to a playoff game where he was supposed to be mandatory to miss the game but instead the league “refreshed” things to just allow him to show he doesn’t have Covid. My point is that we are in year 3 of something that probably is going years 4,5,6+ Everyone that wants to be vaccinated probably is. Certainly pro athletes are. I’m not suggesting saying screw it, no protocols or anything, but there has to be a grand plan to this in terms of the sporting world.

Obviously those like myself that think every player in hockey doesn’t need to be tested every single day unless they are sick are under the impression this discussion goes around a tad bit less governmental interference and restrictions as well in an environment where 99.9% of personnel are vaccinated. If it’s on Canada then fine. Maybe it’s time for the country to help its national sport. Or we can just keep doing this. It’s getting dangerously close though to really affecting the money long term of the league.

I love my Keurig as well. So convenient. What I’m saying with the French press isn’t even that difficult. It’s really just heating the water by timer in the microwave. If you use the same measuring cup every time, it’ll be the same time every time. Then the hardest part is waiting 4 minutes as is steeps. it ain’t rocket science lol

Awesome beans. For maximum cream and flavor with the French press, course grind, heat the water in the microwave in a clear container so you can see the water just get right BEFORE it boils. Should be around 195-205F. If you let it boil, I believe you alter the taste of the bean. Pour water in and do not plunge down. Wait exactly 4 minutes, plunge down, and enjoy. Ratio of water to grinds is a bit trickier. I know on my French press exactly where to put the course grinds in. You’ll figure it out. of course you might know this all already but figured just in case..

So dinner for us since Christmas isn’t a huge deal probably is going to be roasted cauliflower and frosted flake chicken tenders with 5 diff sauces included a ketchup, honey mustard, bbq, teriyaki, and spicy garlic. excite!
