  1. Why does it really matter? Do you get tested daily for your job as a vaccinated person? I’m sure since most of the NHL is vaccinated (99.9%) so many also probably got the booster. It’s been recommended by the NHL but not required. But the point is, if 99.9% of NHL prospers/staff are vaccinated, what does testing daily do if the majority are those testing positive are asymptomatic? They are all vaccinated. The NFL just changed their policy to only do occasional spot testing of vaccinated players unless they are symptomatic. Players are still given the ability to opt out of the season if they feel uncomfortable. If they won’t change their policy, they might as well just shut down the sport now because this is always going to pop up for quite a few seasons. Make boosters a requirement then as well and pick a lane rather than trying to navigate through two. It won’t work.
  2. The league really needs to update its stance on testing. Perfectly healthy vaccinated players are testing positive. There doesn’t need to be a daily tests. If someone feels sick, under the weather, etc then they should be tested. Same as it would be for any one of us out there in the real world.
  3. Arena available I’m sure + travel plans + injuries that make us not want to no?
  4. I wonder how much of this is real “flu/Covid” as much as it a lot of vaccinated people testing positive with no symptoms. I means slippery slope for sure but if someone instead sick….….etc etc
  5. Alright. Question. Have you played the video game series? (Obviously anyone can answer too). I’d lik3 to try to get into it but need some idea how true it holds towards the games series considering there are 3 games.
  6. I’m happy at this point but I’m getting a pretty bad feeling that this season is in serious jeopardy.

  10. They got to the finals. I understand the difference between Tampa and Montreal but you’re in the finals. It can still go either way.
  11. Just wanted to state how much I actually enjoy Deer on my lawn. It’s kinds cool since this is Long Island and not as often. Just fed them our Halloween pumpkins. Fun stuff.
  12. In todays NHL any team is a contender for a variety of reasons. There is no way we shouldn’t look at a team that gets into the playoffs as pretenders. I don’t care as much what their record is against opponent type X in December as much as I care if we are in a position of success in December that probably extends the same question to be asked in April. We aren’t firing on all cylinders and yet we are getting results. A team learns more about itself through adversity during success than they do as bottom dwellers. The Quinn era taught us that. Now we are in a position of NHL relevancy where the adversity might teach us what we need to improve to change from being relevant to being a force.
  13. I imagine if Fox was even remotely comfortable or good at shootouts he would be shooting in them.
  14. Cant say both teams didn’t go for it lol. This is why ot should be 10 minutes.
