  1. Murray has a modified ntc no? Does that make a claim of him subject to working out trade conditions? Not saying for us, but just in general.
  2. Whatever he does, make sure that laptop isn’t actually used on a lap and has good ventilation. Laptop gaming can get dicey when it starts chugging along for graphics and doesn’t stay cool.
  3. I took it as he meant last year was a fluke, no? Even though last year and this year have damn close stats through 17
  4. Well yes and no. A few things. I agree it would be reduced but not too different. I’d be willing to bet that Gallant would role with who’s hot on any given pp. Mostly that’s going to be Fox but Gallant isn’t afraid to role guys clicking at any given time. I love using Fox everywhere, but I’d like him fresh for all 82 rather than being run down by game 65. Also, if there were more options on pp 2, there’s more reason to not have pp1 on so long. Also, 3 v 3 we absolutely do miss ADA. I’m not even sure why Gallant hasn’t used Lundkvist there yet in unit two. 3 v 3 is tailored toward mobile offensive possession D and not Trouba who has been a nightmare out there lol. I don’t even want to think what happens if Fox gets hurt. Yikes. I actually think the third pair on an NHL roster is perfect for a second offensive D, especially one with elite offensive talent from the backend. That’s a problem I’d l8ke to have lol. Really screws up game plans for the opposition. Bottom line though is ADA was never staying here past this year. It’s a bit different than the Buch situation if there is any correlation because he was still under contract. It wasn’t a case yet of us not being able to retain him. That was next year. This is a case of us allowing a division opponent play him still partly under our dollar. Oh well.
  5. In theory I get what you are saying, but the Buch part just doesn’t fly here. I’d honestly rather have the cap space and be where we are right now than be up against the cap with no flexibility. We have space to bring on a rental (Reilly smith) or a replacement JT Miller’) that would also deepen us for this year before we inevitably lose Strome. This upcoming offseason. At best you were going to arb with him and losing him after this year anyway. Unless I’m forgetting that he didn’t have arb rights. Point doesn’t really change regardless because his cap implications going past this season.
  6. Pretty spot on. Shoulda, coulda, woulda doesn’t apply anymore. What we “shoulda” be is enjoying our team being relevant and in a great spot early into the season.
  7. Through 17 games last year he had 17gp 4g 8a 12p Through those first 17 games last year it looks like his average TOI was 19.44 It actually looks like he’s doing more with less time this year. https://www.hockey-reference.com/players/b/buchnpa01/gamelog/2021
  8. Good. Isles suck. They currently have only two more points than the Coyotes. Love it
  9. Isles Pitt ga,e is brutally boring to watch too. If my brother in law wasn5 here from Pittsburgh I’d have turned it off quite a while ago
  10. Penguins stink. I have no idea how they are even in a playoff position right now
  11. I think it’s great. He’s neck and neck with Chico for biggest clown in the tri state
  12. I thought Quinn was horrible. Ive always though that and made many many references to it. Drury gets a ton of credit for finally addressing the 4th line even if it was a bit overkill with some names. Quinn, in my mind, was fortunate that on paper they had a very very good top 6. His job was extended because despite his lack of NHL caliber coaching, the talent was high enough to just win games and keep us sort of relevant late into seasons.
  13. if you think they looked good in the second, id say you must have been watching a different game
  14. Go ahead nhl keep not taking us seriously. We aren't even playing well and we win
