  1. But see, you aren’t correct just in this part. He’s in the top six and takes draws in the top six. But he plays RW at times and on a team with Bo Horvat. So PP unit 1, he won’t take the faceoff. Horvat will. he still is second on his team in overall faceoffs. They just don’t NEED him as much on a team with two other good faceoff guys so it lowers his overall number in comparison to a team like the Rangers that previously really had no one good from the dot besides ziby.
  2. Covid protocol and they dont even know it But in good news, I definitely see strome tonight
  3. It would be real nice if one of our "leaders" not named Kreider steps up here and takes over a game.
  4. I'm not sure what to tell ya. He regularly takes draws. Vancouver is blessed to have 3 good face-off guys. He is one of them. 500 draws in a shortened season is not an occasional faceifff guy.
  5. It’s too bad ALF isn’t allergic to poutine
  6. He’s +12 which is 7th in the league for +/- on D so no worry about that -6 The time we miss him most is in ot. God it would be so nice to not see Trouba out there on the 3 v 3. Not sure why they don’t use Lundkvist at that time.
  7. I like the USA ones in dark blue and white especially. The Finland dark blue is awesome.
  8. I dont really think there is any way they trade Strome unless things go so drastically wrong that we are in the basement at the trade deadline. This year is very very much about making and making noise I’m the playoffs.
  9. Big concern, and all things creating equal, I agree with liking Miller as a player a tad more but I like consistency in the known rather than the unknown and losing assets. I’d hope by now extension with Strome is in the works.
  10. Definitely possible. The lack of contract negotiations with Strome and Rangers so far is a concern. They of course could be saying one thing and actually negotiating in private but still.
  11. Miller makes more sense to me that Horvat just because Miller is at the arch of his career where he might look for a lesser monetary deal (meaning not break the bank and accept what he is paid now) after next year in favor of security and on a team with cup aspirations. I’d make the trade in a heartbeat to obtain him knowing he’s here next year at Stromes rate. Assuming we make the playoffs this year and see where we are talent wise, guys like him would look at us as a team with multiple windows over the next 5 years rather than a now or bust like the Islanders. I’d be in hard for him because he really would one of the only circle peg into circle hole when replacing Strome and actually be an upgrade without breaking the bank. Plus, you have this Year with Strome still here for a seriously balanced top 6 and holes filled.
