Yeah, once Vegas acquired Eichel they basically told the ho key would they need to dump two salaries if he sees the ice at all this year.

They are nearly 10m over the cap right now but it doesn’t affect them until Eichel, Paccioretty, Stone come off LTIR. They are going to have to trade a couple of pieces. Smith I don’t believe has a trade clause so he would make perfect sense to be dealt.
