You probably could pick up a decent hand grinder for cheap on Amazon. Grinding a whole bag in advance really does ruin the freshness pretty quickly.

What I’ve been trying to do lately is really only buy roasts that have a date on the, so I know how fresh they are. I believe the flavor starts to degrade after 30 days of roasting. I only buy whole bean too and grind one cup at a time.

I think Fields will work out. It’s not a Trubisky situation at all. I’m just hoping they don’t stick with Dalton for too long.

I don’t think Barron + pick gets us anywhere near enough for Hertl. I’m not even sure they care about Barron. He’s a throw in, not an enticement. I’d absolutely be on board with bringing him in if he agreed to a reasonable extension, but I think they would be asking for more like two top prospects (lundkvist/Kravtsov) and a 2nd rounder. At that point, I’d say hard pass.

Gotta agree with Pete here. It’s a fairly dumb decision. And kind of selfish. I call nonsense if trying to say this is for the greater good of hockey and growing the sport. There is a time and place. The last thing this sport needs is a covid outbreak after all this time where the teams paying their salaries have lost a lot on revenue.

I woke up to find half the village I live in at lower elevation flooded and screwed. Fave Italian spot is wrecked. Feel very fortunate.

I do a highly competitive one elsewhere but I don’t see why I can’t try to do both. As a matter of fact, if we this going, it should be treated as the epl with the bottom three of the first league demoted and top three of tier two promoted.

It’s weird. We see athletes on tv and forget at times that they are humans. Some flawed, some troubled, some awesome people. In the hockey world we mostly are greeted with just canned player expressions regurgitated for decades. When we see tragedies, it reminds us that they really are closer to who we are than we realize. Sad for the Hayes family.
