  1. The fact that JD himself said nothing when Dolan fired him shows JD keeps things professionally and in house.
  2. Anyone change their opinion yet. Lol But in all seriousness, I just wanted to add that I think it’s kind of tough to compare things that happen to other players especially in different times. Avery from 2007 would likely never survive in 2021 with some of his antics on and off ice. Hell, he ended up not lasting himself, spent time in the AHL when he was already a successful NHLer and was cut by Dallas the same year he signed a contract. Plenty of other players have other legal troubles that go well above what ADA did but that’s not really a perfect comparison. It’s also an ever evolving world in both good and bad ways. Things tweeted in the past brushed under the rug (ahem, Tyler Seguin) now land guys in far deeper trouble today. ADA dove into the cesspool willingly. Not just that, but he repeatedly did so to the point where it got all the attention by internet baiters that were salivating at the opportunity to engage with him and he willingly went along. I think part of the frustration some might have, and I can understand that, is the vilification of him rather than just calling him an idiot and moving on. Some act as if he’s punted puppies and eats babies. That’s 2021 for ya though I guess. The second part of that is that if you are going to be that guy outspoken to that point where you actually challenge trolls by trolling yourself, you better be tip top of your game everywhere else on the ice and in the locker room. I think Gorton and Quinn did a horrid job with ADA in 2021 specifically but ADA tightened his own noose by being childish and sulking and or causing problems behind closed doors daring management to do what they inevitably did. When I say Gorton and Quinn did a horrible job I mean specifically 1. Gorton signing him and then days into the season gives an ultimatum of “if I hear your name one more time” to a guy with a troubled past damn well knowing it’s unrealistic. He should have just sent him home for two weeks instead of that ultimatum backing himself into a corner. 2. Quinn singling ADA out on opening night when the entire team didn’t show up to play when they both had a tumultuous relationship at best and Quinn in my mind was in well over his head for a lot of things not even ADA related. Ultimately, it’s still on ADA. His bosses are his bosses. Sometimes even if you personally feel they are incompetent, you must respect that they your bosses and you are not above that. Ever. He never learned that and just the idea that he doesn’t respect those giving him chances with his own personal issues is unforgivable. ADA let down himself, his teammates, and most importantly his fans. I do not agree with the vilification of him as if he’s the worlds worst human to the point of not being a fan of the team if they employ the man but I personally think he owes a lot of people an apology. First and foremost are every fan and teammates of his while wearing a Rangers sweater. I was a fan. He let me down. He had a job for a team most of would give years off of our lives to have. That’s sacred. He should have remembered that every minute he went to work. The fact I supported him and he let me down disappoints me to no end. He owes me an apology. He owes all of us an apology. I wish him well, but I hope he’s a -5 every game against us now. LGR.
  3. Lundkvist, Kakko, 1st for Eichel at 50% Strome for Taransenko For the next two seasons until Vlads contract is up, you have a top 6 of Laf - Zib - Vlad Bread - Eich - Krav
  4. Yeah I know but Raanta will be hurt by November I’m sure. Don’t crush my dreams
  5. Palat is on his last year with a modified ntc and Killorn will start the year on IR I believe so that’s likely what happens to keep them under
  6. Yeah, just the little sharpening makes a world of difference in your cut. Combine that with a nice mower and you’ll be all set
  7. Lol one of the best scenes in the series. “His house looked like shit” lol
  8. Yeah he was mentioning that some teams were trying to contact him and neither him nor his agent were even accepting or returning phone calls. I guess he had been hinting he wanted to possibly end his career back home at some point. I suppose it makes sense. Sort of. https://www.bostonherald.com/2021/07/30/david-krejci-leaves-bruins-for-home/
  9. Anyone have any clean urine?
  10. Why on God's green earth would you even entertain contract talk before even putting on the sweater?
  11. Think this was inevitable. I was listen g to Sirius yesterday and a Bruins best writer was saying both him and hid agent were not returning anyone's calls.
  12. Well, if you believe Chytil is now the odd man out, that basically is blocking out a prospect. I don’t think Chytil is necessarily, but just pointing out that idea. And it is overkill IMO just simply for the fact that a soon approaching 35 year old has his “hockey” days limited. I’m sure he can punch until he’s 40, but I’m not sure anyone really cares around the league if they can skate circles around him. It looks like the year Vegas went to the finals, he only played 10 playoff games I think and it still didn’t stop Tom Wilson from cheap shots against Vegas and later scoring a goal
  13. An interview from 2014 really has no bearing on why he was dumped from the Rangers in 2021. I’m just not following the line of thinking but so be it.
  14. Lol wild weather out there tonight. Tornado warnings and all lol All I can hope is the signing brings a Tornado of success and flurry of punches lol
  15. What does that have to do with anything right now? Isn’t that years old?
  16. Why? Because in my mind we already brought in tougher guys to play against in Nemeth and Blais, a guy that can punch in Tinordi if you feel they need that in any given day specifically, and some experience in a Goodrow that knows what it takes to sacrifice and play gritty. Goodrow and Nemeth specifically are over 6m I believe just in them. Plus we did have a couple of other guys in Trouba and Rooney. I don’t want to see the Morgan Barrons not get a shot because we needed just one last face puncher who’s best days are behind him. Remember, we want to see a message to guys like Wilson but he’s also a hockey player. I do t want Brashear 2.0 and if Drury had faith in the toughness he already brought it, a one dimensional guy approaching 35 that might already have started breaking down shouldn’t have been necessary.
