I will tell you this. Once you do get it nice and sharp, you will see a difference in the mow. Less clumping and just more evenness. How often do you mow? Not sure how into it you’ve ever gotten but you’re never supposed to mow more than 1/3rd off of the grass at any given time. Stresses the grass out a lot, especially in hotter months. I know one of the biggest mistakes people make is to cut off too much. I know a lot of people cut it short so they can go longer in between mowing but it’s probably the worst thing someone can do when they mow. Just figured I’d throw that out there just in case.

Yeah, I’m not sure if I’m coming across wrong. I’m not saying to have kept Buch. I just think Reaves at 35 by mid season will do less to help us make the playoffs than if we used that 1.7m cap space (even though we had plenty) to obtain something that either makes us a better hockey team in a playoff run given the toughness we already had for a roster slight different direction in the FA dept once you hired Galant and damn well knew Reaves would be obtainable given Vegas cap space and Galant’s affinity for the dude. This move should have been made prior to UFA then so you see if you wanted to add more toughness or gone a diff direction elsewhere. Personally I think with the sum total of everyone else, Reaves wasn’t necessary and just takes up a roster spot. I highly doubt he barely dresses or anything like that.

Well we don’t 100% know what they would sign with here. I’m just saying, this is a bit overkill. Not trying to knock it, but just Reaves will be 35 in January. We aren’t talking about a prime guy and he’s playing a very specific limited role and one that only saw him play 30 or so games last year due to injury. We have seen this before I think. Tinordi also brought in for toughness specifically. Not sure we need two of the same exact guys, especially on a team where Trouba still is a guy I also expect toughness from. Same with Blais. Same with Rooney. Not exactly the same as Nemeth but he’s also a big guy brought in for toughness. I’m all for shifting the needle. I’m not all for trying to be the 74 Flyers in a league where sneezing on an opponent gives them the PP.

Instead of Reaves/Nemeth/Tinordi at over 5m, I think I’d have preferred Bogosian/Reaves/Cizikas at a touch over 6m or forget Reaves all together and do Bogosian/Tinordi/Cizikas and got experience, toughness, and checking all for a tad more but better well rounded. This is kind of overkill a bit.

I have a hand sharpener and just remove the blades. There is one screw per blade. Hardest part is remembering which way to put them back on but I have two sets of blades so I just sharpen one set while the other is still on and rinse ,wash ,repeat. I don’t think the brand new blades out of the box really are sharp enough for my taste.

All we can hope is that as a society we learn form it but I’m 100% sure no one will. This literally happens so much more often than most realize. While I certainly can’t speak for anyone, I just think the ease of a camera at all times within arms length makes this so much more prevalent. He’s a bit underrated to be honest. Career .917 save % that was .920% in four years for Arizona. 2nd highest in the entire league from 17/18-20/21 in goalies that have played 100 games or more. Only guy ahead was Bishop. Now obviously that would go down if more games played but he’s played 140 games in that timespan so he’s been tested. I imagine a good team in front of him will result in some pretty good success. 18/19 he played 55 games and was pretty beastly mirroring Vasilevskiy stats. I’m assuming Colorado looked at that.

Yeah, United still are behind City but you never know. They really are Champions League or bust at this point anyway. Chelsea I can’t decide if overachieved after sacking Lampard or if they just are that good. Liverpool will be much better this year. All this hopefully means more teams take points away from City keeping the top 4 all closer together. Interesting year this will be.
