shows how much of a crap year last year really was. I know the front office was overhauled sort of and the coach changed, but one of if not the the biggest takeaway from last year was the development of Buchnevich into a high impact player on both sides of the puck. At least statistic wise he was. Then given up for very little. They were almost better off signing him to another bridge deal even if he had arb rights and trade him after signing with every GM knowing exactly how much they would have to pay him. I'm not understanding this return at all. There are guys out there for the 4th line without trading someone in the top 6 to get him. That is unless this is a precursor for a bigger move.

this is the kind of trade that you wont know how bad it is until 3-4 years from now and see who they could have had via draft instead. On paper its bad, but Ristolainen had potential back in the day so who knows. This draft is such a bigger lottery than ever before so there is that. Ristolainen is only 26 and 4 times had 40+ points no? Plus he's a big body. Doesn't play a lick of defense though i think but maybe they are hoping for a change of scenery.

But I’m not sure what that has to do with anything outside of some childish twat nonsense. Ok, ADA is garbage. So? Of course Drury isn’t bringing back ADA, nor should he. That doesn’t excuse Gortons mistakes and now Drury is forced to try and buy one out and hopefully trade another.

That Gorton had a ton of flaws in his GM and roster management

I clicked on the Yankees last night after I finished getting Krakened to see them win. Didn’t recognize one player out there lol.

Seravalli Rangers Believed to be Asking for a First-Round Pick for Georgiev

Wherever he goes, I hope that team also picks up ADA -
Price I get not picking up. I think you’d have to be insane to take his contract when there are so many other lesser options for less money that really aren’t THAT much of a lesser option. Tarasenko was a case of Dunn just being available and a better pick in the long term I guess. Or it could be argued at least. Either way, there still were other names out there they passed on which I won’t understand if they want to compete in a division that is very weak. That is unless they sign some high valued ufa guys like Landeskog

We’re they allowed to announce that? I keep hearing about a roster freeze until this was over but I could be wrong -

I know right? Look, I get drafting a team for years to come but for the love of god they left an awful lot of players that can help and aren’t THAT far off from their best years. Puckpedia says they spent 54 million and I’m struggling to see how this roster would cost more than 3 Frappuccino’s -

The only unknown of this process is how they are going to manage incorporating Kurt Cobain in this whole thing
