I’m starting to wonder if the Islanders might be the team we would end up catching up possibly. After tonight’s loss, we have a game in hand with them, are down by 10 points, and play them three more times. Remaining games I like our schedule a hell of a lot better and those three games against them directly are huge. Unlikely but not out of the realm.

I do think you’re absolutely right. But this is what we do as fans lol. I’m as guilty as anyone but I tend to try and keep it mostly to the gdt :)

Yeah exactly this. It’s also the old Drury or Gomez argument. Don’t remember which one we used to say it about but we judge based on pay, which isn’t necessarily his fault. But we do. I do at least lol. He probably brings a lot we don’t see but on the ice, he is overpaid. He will be an important part of our playoff success though.

Think it’s 9 point difference to 4. I don’t know about you but I have an easier time seeing us make up a 2 game deficit rather than a 5 game deficit
