Well yeah but he’s 28. Nhl experience wise not a ton. Still can’t exactly call a guy approaching 30 a kid. Just my opinion. If u went into a situation at 19 with little experience and 28 with little experience I’m sure your outlook and how you handle things is a bit different.

Smith is very tradeable. His contract is expiring and most has been paid so the cap hit isn’t too big of a factor for any team that wants depth. If he isn’t traded they are bringing him back I think.
