Because I don’t think they’ll ever afford both Ziby and Eichel. You’re more likely to retain Strome for a reasonable price or find a 2c. Even though technically Zibys year last year was better than Eichels, I think Eochel is the superior talent and a few years younger so you get another 5 years I guess of Eichel

How does that honestly make us better in the long run than we were last year with Ziby outperforming Eichel offensively? You're squeezing us more cap wise, getting about the same production as you got out of Ziby last year, thinning out our roster now talent wise, and handcuffing our future assets. Just stay the course and not worry about the shiny toy.
