If This Skid Continues...TDL, Draft, What Do?
Keirik replied to LindG1000's topic in New York Rangers
If we continued like this for the rest of the year, id hope by then the higher ups would finally see we need to fire Quinn. Then I think you need to look at who the coach is and where his philosophy lies. The idea of taking the even longer route lies with Gorton and I'm not so sure he would want to rip it up again and basically sign his own dismissal since the ones that really would need to be traded in a tear down would be his fault for having around mostly (Kreider, Trouba, etc). So therein lies where we are kind of stuck. I think we would be looking at moving the pick, a prospect, and a talent for something impactful. For who probably depends on what team by next offseason needs a shakeup. The clear obvious right now is Eichel. -

I mean, I don’t see that as a neutral but I suppose it’s possible. Doesn’t that only make the point even stronger about how bad the political forum is in the first place then?

Fuck, u got me by two years lol

Maybe he wants a liter of litter?

I’ll chime in a bit because I’m on board with Mikey. I think the political forum blows. We all have one thing in common and that’s hockey; Rangers specifically. I mostly avoid the sub part of the forum like the plague unless it’s Police related and I feel like I can add a unique perspective. Can’t even do that anymore because our world these days takes social media comments, isolates them, and can be used against you if outside sources need (not this boards fault of course). I kind of read and contribute a little but it’s so cringe worthy sometimes, I’d rather just walk away. I look at this place like my neighbors. I love my neighbors if they want to discuss our lawns, the weather, what little Jonny down the block did, our kids, whatever. What I don’t want is to know or see their political signs impaled into their lawn staring at me. It doesn’t make for good neighbors regardless of whether it’s my stance or not. Then Avs in, I put up a joke sign that said “dogs 2020 because humans just suck” to a lot of honks and laughs. I agree with Josh about the circle jerk part even if it’s a crude analogy lol.I also agree with cccp that it’s a cancer. It’s mostly each thread saying one POV, patting each other on the back for agreeing, doubling down, and acting like a mob in a way whenever someone comes in with a different take. I don’t even see how it’s healthy for the board in the first place.

Strange how this birthday thread quickly turned to trading bowel movement times.

[tsn] Dreger: League-Wide Interest in DeAngelo; Trade Likely a Matter of Days

His offensive output sometimes especially in the playoffs -
I don’t mind ALF Strome Kakko. Strome is a pretty talented hockey player and in theory it could work. It’s Kakko I still have no actual faith in when it comes to decisions, skating, and hockey iq.

Fire DQ, Hire Brucey B, ????, Profit!!!
Keirik replied to Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr's topic in New York Rangers
It’s Canada. They panic and there were high hopes for the Nucks I think this year. I doubt he doesn’t get an extension but one not offered yet is a bit strange....- 268 replies

Thoughts on Travis Green? Final year of his contract and Canucks struggling. If it kept up all year, I wonder if they make a move later or in the offseason more likely.- 268 replies

That time he reacted to the twitter troll and said the guy is more than welcome to say the same stuff to his face after the game......was that before or after they resigned him this offseason? -

To be honest, I actually think the Rangers were a little more afraid arbi would give him more so that’s the part they were mostly screwed. 53 points in 68 games going into arbi could have worked out pretty poorly for the team depending. -
gdt: [RS] (#13) Rangers vs. Boston Bruins // Adam Fox, Bear Hunter

If anyone ever confused either of them just ask them to discuss their hockey system. The one that says "huh, what's that?" is Quinn. -

I’m assuming ADA said he will not discuss internal locker room stuff. Why would he? That’s not going to help much. He just says he’s to blame himself and sounds like he wants to just move on. -

(Brooks) Tony DeAngelo bares his soul in first comments since Rangers exile https://nypost.com/2021/02/13/ex-rangers-player-tony-deangelo-bares-soul-in-interview/?utm_source=twitter_sitebuttons&utm_medium=site%20buttons&utm_campaign=site%20buttons Posting this part because maybe Detroit is a destination after all. Pretty good words from Staal. -

Thanks for the info. That makes sense. Maybe whoever it is smarted up then with no links lol. Must have missed thecarticle because usually people quote the article to give it a bit more oomph than just a post. -
