  1. Oof, coffee and alcohol. Lol
  2. Well yes, and no. Every sport played a first season through covid. No season as of yet has gone a second season. NBA is first but that sport is a very different in my mind at least here in this country. An NBA roster is like 15 people with no real system to speak of compared to the NHL. Also the popularity difference between the two is night and day in my mind in terms of what it can survive with losses and revenue outside of just gate money. An owner that buys an NBA team in any city in North America sans 2-3 places is going to be much better off compared to an NHL counterpart. What the owners and players agreed to back in July pales in comparison to what they believed would be going on today, which is in many cases worse. That can’t just be brushed aside with a “they signed this” in unprecedented times. They are 50/50 partners in this and that means you can’t say fuck you pay me right now. Just my opinion here.
  3. Side note. Did you watch the four year plan documentary about qpr? It was pretty good
  4. Weirdly, im pretty pro owner when it comes to sports. Yes the players are the reasons people pay attention but the owners in many cases, especially with hockey, take a lot of risks monetarily. Not every market runs itself so buying a team isn't always a money maker in this sport. I think the players are going to have to adjust to this despite a deal being previously made. If an owner is basically going to lose money, there are going to be situations where they lose less money not playing than playing. In times like these, show any owner a bottom line where they might lose 20 million not playing but lost 50 million if they do play and you'll get a resounding "dont play" vote in my opinion. Heard Brian Burke saying this earlier and it's just so true.
  5. There is a giant difference between the gravity of international responsibility for world wide football and hockey. There really aren’t that comparable. And this is the world juniors. Routinely top under 21 year prospects skip u21 duties once they are top prospects in football. Let’s be realistic here.
  6. All i know is that they better figure this out and asap. With things closing at earlier times than usual and people staying home at much higher rates, this is also an opportunity to bring in newer fans that might otherwise now have tuned in.
  7. To me, the utmost importance is the sport first. While the owners face some blame, you can’t get blood from a stone. I’m not sure where we go from here but I’m not so sure everyone really saw the big picture that this upcoming season would be this impacted. We are in uncharted territory. I’m not so sure it’s in the sports best interest for the players to go Goodfellas style and say “fuck you pay me”
  8. Hmm, the guy on pace for nearly 60 goals that plays in every situation not even on the list but guys like Barzal , ROR, and Scheiffle are..... Odd
  9. That makes sense too and there isn’t enough of a library for it right now as well. I certainly wouldn’t sit in a line overnight waiting for one but online I got lucky so why not.....
  10. It’s just a matter of expectations and if you plan on getting one eventually anyway. I figured I def am so what’s the point of waiting if you know you will anyway.
  11. I had that with best buy and the Xbox on No 11th. I kept refreshing and luckily ended up checking out with Best Buy for the Xbox. No luck so far with ps5
  12. Xbox yes, ps5 no. Tried getting both and struck out Sony wise. The closest I’ve gotten is through Walmart website. Looks like Black Friday they have another release for it at like 9 am or whatever it says scheduled there. Bots are ruining this.
  13. I mean realistically Boston is trending down with injuries, Tukka being Tukka, Caps are getting older, and we lose one of the better coached teams in Bjs and get Crosby and Malkin out of our division. Where is the “huge hit” from? It’s certainly not the easiest division but that’s laughable for the Sabres to be a hot take and a team to watch out for but not the Rangers? Yikes.
  14. Definitely, especially after this second one. First one was for a diuretic I think so he could have gotten sympathy as in not knowing. This one is pure performance enhancing related.
  15. It’s pretty good. Def on the better than average side. I just like how it’s a good clean cup. Not muddy nor watery with their medium roasts. Will probably try out there darker one next.

  17. So I overall like the Black Rifle Coffee Co. had the thin blue line and Freedom blends. Might not be for everyone with their obvious leanings but some proceeds to go Veterans so I can live with it. Good balance to the cup with a clean finish. A good cup leaning on the side of bold without being too harsh so I’m pleased.

  19. It’s easier to have a bounce back season on the juice I hear lol
  20. So I guess the Isles didn’t get the memo the NHL was doing this?
