  1. If 7 months from now I’m staring at the Rangers in the finals, I don’t care if a reincarnate of my father is in the other goal. Let’s Go Rangers.
  2. Yeah, he was awesome here, but he’s an Oiler first, Ranger second. Think we were thinking a bit more of players that are actually Rangers For most of their careers, drafted by us.
  3. Full blown nhl 94 node with today?s rosters in NHL 21.....color me intrigued.
  4. Well I pray to the ho key gods that our organization ends up just like the Yankees the year after he left and subsequent years there after.
  5. I think it would be pretty strange to tie up more big cap money in another D (assuming we bring back ADA) when we are still a work in progress. There aren’t hugely awesome options right now out there. Going to be a flat cap for a couple more seasons and next offseason there are 4 more rfas to worry about. You never know if one goes off this coming year driving up his price. I’d say the Rangers are hell of a lot more likely to do a one year low risk veteran deal, not make a splash.
  6. Andy Greene, Borowiecki, Daley, are three veterans that, won't cost much.
  7. Tran I think I said it the other day. He would be great here but likely will get an overpriced offer somewhere and I’d prefer it not be is with our young soon to be on bigger contracts pool of talent
  8. Kreider / Zibanejad / Buchnevich Panarin / Cirelli / Kakko Lafreniere / Chytil / Kravtsov Clifford / Boyle / Lemieux Howden Smith / Trouba Lindgren / Fox Miller / DeAngelo Greene Shesterkin Georgiev Will add 7th d before Tuesday and any last minute edits. Bold is via trade with Tampa for the 22nd and next years 1st. StromeS rights gets dealt at draft for 2nd rounder in next years draft. ADA signs 3 year 6.2m AAV. Cirelli 5m x 3. Georgie goes 2 x 2. Boyle is 1.5 x 1. Simmonds is 2.5 x 1.
  9. You know who would be pretty good in a 4th line role for us and might be a 20/21 type with not many offers? Wayne Simmonds. Hell, keep Lemieux even though he’s not well liked, get Boyle and Simmonds and I really like that 4th line. Lemieux Boyle Simmonds Tough line to play against
  10. Maroon is going to have a lot more offers this year than previously had. Two cups on two different teams will do that. I could see him here but I doubt we fit him under the cap if we want to address everything we want to do this offseason. Some team is going to offer him a bit more than he’s worth if they think he’s a missing piece of sorts
  11. Ffs just draft the franchise player we were gifted lol
  12. I just assume GMs will preemptively avoid the, by making a shit ton of head scratching moves. Teams with cap space can really score big this offseason.
  13. Yeah i think this year is so different, you cannot compare it at all to previous cap years.
  14. Well, but the only trade that somewhat makes sense is for a guy that isn't even cost controlled now. I don't think the Rangers are that far away even without Eichel from competing. If ALF is the real deal, he will be a very important piece within 2 seasons while he is still cheaper than he's likely worth. Kakko, Shesh, Fox, et al should be even further ahead as well. I think we just stay the course and have a very good mapped out salary structure. No reason to sway from that now.
  15. I’ll post mine by Sunday hopefully with a couple of non current roster additions. :)
  16. Maybe not, but as we speak they lose 4 of their top 6 d this offseason, 3 being RD I think. Likely ADA and Sergachev money wise would be comparable, but those 2 firsts really would help them replenish cheaper talent especially if they think next year we still aren’t so good and our first is high. You figure we probably have to give up another fairly high end talent but we do have a decent amount of that and we would get the LD we need and the 2c that’s perfect and won’t cost 7m.
  17. Easily. Ritcher is really the only real comparable since it was a different game when Giacomin was around but even Ritcher wasn’t nearly as good for as long or as consistently dominant year in and year out.
  18. Sergachev + Cirelli for ADA, our 22nd pick, next years 1st, and.......
