playoffs: 2019-20 | WCSF | Colorado Avalanche (2) vs. Dallas Stars (3)

You drink? Nooooooo lol -
Slightly before my time but I always loved his dynamic with Phil Rizutto on PIX 11. Hall of Fame pitcher and class act for the Mets and the rest of MLB https://www.yahoo.com/sports/tom-seaver-new-york-mets-dementia-lyme-disease-death-002104184.html

[brooks] Rangers to Loan Vitaly Kravtsov to KHL for 2020-21 Season
Keirik replied to Phil's topic in New York Rangers
I think it’s best to say let’s just move on and not worry about it ya know? Maybe he got spoken to, learned a lesson, and in the future gets another chance. Or not. Either way we go on. :) Can we have our warnings reversed lol -
confirmed: Rangers Buyout Final Year of Henrik Lundqvist's Contract
Keirik replied to Phil's topic in New York Rangers
Just a little bit more proof that he considered himself a NYer. I really don’t see him retiring at all -
isnt that where Paxioretty is from ?

I think at this point, you might want to put the entire group on ignore lol or just chill a bit. As I said once before, a lot of us have been posting together for about a decade or even longer. I think some new passionate blood is great. Acting like this though is just pointless -

Lol is this even a serious post? Come on dude. Why are u trying to alienate yourself from everyone? Aren't we all fans of the same team? -

well it makes perfect sense from my perspective that you might have some knowledge with this that others might not. The eye test can be very telling when you are literally looking specifically at a player shift to shift in person. You just get to see so much more than you would on television. Lets be realistic here. I'm sure thats a big reason why anyone goes to an AHL game of a team they are fans of so I trust you know what you're talking about lol. The better half and I tried to get ourselves to see Sheshty earlier in February but literally he got called up shortly before the game we intended on seeing. We always take day trips anyway around the tri state area so it would have been perfect. It's an awesome tool to get to see the future playing before MSG -

Is there any actual reason you have your opinion based on anything more than a whim? I mean I’ll certainly hold a hell of a lot more weight with the opinion of someone that has viewed one of our top prospects in person, likely specifically watching him shift by shift since he is our top prospect in Hartford over no credentials at all outside of posting on message boards for a long long time. We are talking about Drew here. One of the nicer guys that’s very humble and respectful. -
confirmed: Rangers Sign F Morgan Barron to Entry-Level Contract

Good interview with Morgan -
[tsn] Laine, Ehlers Expected to Rank on TSN's Trade Bait List
Keirik replied to Phil's topic in Hockey Around the Globe
I feel like Laine was rumored last offseason or part of the season too. They aren’t in love with the one dimension he brings I guess? -
confirmed: Jacques Martin Joins Rangers Coaching Staff
Keirik replied to Phil's topic in New York Rangers
And that’s more so what I meant. It’s a win win in that category and one that I’d say would have crossed their mind with Kakko early struggles without a familiar voice I guess. A bit different since ALF is still in NA but u get the gist -

Well I don’t know, I can see it being a small part of the fit as well -

At the least I think it’s further evidence we have no intention of drafting anyone else number 1 -

Since he has been the Canadiens head coach, I assume he speaks French. Since he speaks French I assume part of the hire is to help ALF feel more comfortable. Makes sense. I like it. -
Yeah because then you’ve tied the most in a row in modern day hockey. Think the Canadians did 5 in a row but in the 50s. At this point I’ll take anything lol
-
Lol yeah but I’d say 4 cups in 10 years is a dynasty regardless.
-
4 in a Decade. 3 in a row and not the 4th would always be met by islander fans as one short lol

3.5m cap hit for a two time 40+ point player before a chance to play with superior players. He was not cracking the top 6 in Toronto. It's a risk for sure but it's not like we aren't talking about a talented player. I highly doubt we ever commit to Strome long term and this is a lot easier to swallow considering the players that will need raises. I think at some point you have to take a few calculationed risk for diamonds in the rough so to speak.

pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee get Kerfoot. He's not amazing F/O wise but he's the same as Strome, will cost 3.5m until 2025 i think and is 26. Hell, if they trade ADA they can afford Kerfoot, keep Strome on a show me, and move Chytil back to wing where he belongs and Kerfoot is actually pretty underrated. He's got some good offensive skills
