  1. Couldn’t disagree more. This place is very open to intelligent conversation and banter. There is a gigantic difference between out of the box thinking and posting up 10+ links of Lundqvist commercials, saying if he wants your respect, and just going on and on with no actual thought behind it. I think at this point we get it, you don’t like Lundqvist. No one, including Henrik himself, cares to earn your respect on the matter so why keep bashing it? As for advice, I’m just trying to help you out with some friendly advice. You need this place more than this place needs you. As I said, it’s nearly a decade old site so it’s existed long enough to have established a good base. Newer members are encouraged, but let’s try to have some tact about it. If you are 2 weeks into a membership here and already in a position where ignore is even an option, I’d say maybe rethink your strategy. Hell, I’m one of the people that had posted up threads saying it’s time to move on from Henrik, yet it never got to the point you’re at now.
  2. Well he was on the team when Boogaard was, so I guess he could have picked up a habit but I didn’t think there was any hint about it.
  3. https://www.blueshirtbanter.com/2020/8/22/21396398/ways-new-york-rangers-could-upgrade-center-position-through-trade-strome-monahan-lindholm-hertl There’s the article. I mean it’s names we already mentioned. Nice write up but I don’t see us in on any of them really .
  4. So how many boards do you regularly join and post like idiotic stuff constantly? I mean, to be honest dude, you’re the one but posting similar idiotic comments as guys that previously joined, wore out their welcome fast and left because they didn’t understand how pointless of a conversation it is to beat a dead horse with no factual accuracy to it at all. Doesn’t that show more of a reflection of you rather than of the rest of a sit that’s been around for a decade? If you do that elsewhere and are met with the same reactions, that should be your first sign that maybe it’s you, not us. You’re the only common denominator lol. I think you could be a productive poster but you just add far too much vitriol. Maybe cut that out and just enjoy your time here discussing Rangers hockey.
  5. Yeah, I mean I get it. Just would solve so much and we are a team that plays a defenseman on the wing and a winger in Chytil at center lol
  6. Personally I think this is the round they miss Rask the most. Two different back to backs if they make it that far.
  7. Pekka Rinne, Fleury, eventually Bobvovsky, technically Luongo is still under a teams cap, Corey Schneider. If you want positional players then Subban, Skinner, Getzlaf, Ryan, Kesler to name a few. Some to more degree than others.
  8. I normally never ever suggest moving a player from position, but I’ve seen a few snippets about how ALF Plays all over the ice and at times plays more like a center. Why not see if he would be open to it? It would solve a lot. Just a thought.

  10. How does it differ from any other hall of fame player at the end of his career playing now in a limited role compared to what he was years ago??!?
  11. Let him stay. He’s clearly a jackass. It’s good for our amusement
  12. Woah that looks sick. Even love the music. Remember that Nirvana song in Jarhead.
  13. MacKinnon is such a beast......NOW Important lesson of patience too. For a 3 year period after his rookie year he wasn’t very beastly. Then he just took off, which coincided with Duchene leaving. I wonder if our fan base and organization would have a 3 year window of patience like that?
  14. Is this really what your Saturday nights have come to?
  15. Happy coming out of the womb day
  16. You know, the Capitals just bowed out early, are losing Holtby, and still are in a place to compete with that roster. East coast still, not too much of a change of scenery, and a place Henrik has played well in/has plenty of playoff experience in. I’d have a real tough time seeing him at MSG In a caps uniform but I wonder if we retained 2-4m and asked him if he wants this one chance. Thry do have Samsonov though but he’s not a head and shoulders number 1 yet at all.
  17. I’d have a very very hard time seeing the Flames trade Lindholm. Just because they want a shakeup doesn’t mean they would trade pieces vital to turning things around.
  18. To be fair, the isles have a huge advantage this postseason. No other team feels this comfortable playing in front of no fans
  19. As I sit here a bit bored while the better half snores in my ear I started rethinking a bit. You figure Strome is going to sign a 1 year deal since ufa is after next season. ADA has a few more seasons. Maybe you can get him to agree to 6x3 and get Strome for around 6x1. You have to find a taker for Smith to allow a bit more coin to address a 4th line better even if it costs you a b prospect or package with Georgiev. There should be the cheap Brian Boyles out there. The following offseason for prior to the 21/22 season we have 45m in cap space we lose from Staal, Hank, Buch, chytil, Howden, Gauthier, Lindgren. Staal and Hank are gone so there is plenty of money there and even some to negotiate with Ziby for an extension since he’s going into his last year. It seems we are in pretty good shape.
