Jules
...is absolutely incredibly awesome. Jay-Z at absolute top of his game. Holy hell, what an album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3wf0WU__84
Dunny
Ok, I don't listen to stuff like this so I'm a little nieve maybe but what's with the name? Magna Carta Holy Grail? Like holy fuck, it's like the yltimate I'M THE BEST rap title which says something.
Bluephoria
That song is horrible. Granted, I rarely listen to rap anymore... but jeez, if that's what is considered top of his game then SHIT his game is bad. Blueprint 2 was good.
Jules
I love the beat on that track. Love. It. Other tracks have better lyrics, but that beat, man.
Pete
I'm halfway through and I think it's garbage.
Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr
I'm halfway through and I think it's garbage. Yeah I kind of agree. It just doesn't have any kind of substance behind it.
Jules
Maybe Yeezus set a low standard last month, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. So many good tracks and great lyrics.
Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr
That kanye album is totally worthless. I don't, to me rap/hip hop is on life support. It's just not good b
Jules
That kanye album is totally worthless. I don't, to me rap/hip hop is on life support. It's just not good b It's tough to determine what really is left of rap today. It's become this huge blend of rap lyrics, beats, indie sounds, jazz and slightly smooth crooning. I love the diversity of this album. Not every song is amazing, but several top tracks for sure. Better than Yeezus, that's for sure.
Pete
That kanye album is totally worthless. I don't, to me rap/hip hop is on life support. It's just not good b 100% agree. I can't even listen to local hip hop stations. Pandora all the way.
Fuhgeddaboudit
I didn't really like that Tom Ford song. I liked Yeezus though, but I still hate Kanye.
siddious
I honestly never understood all of the love Jay Z gets. I find his music really boring. Granted I hate anything rap/hip hop but I still grew up on some rap and can still appreciate the some of the good stuff..
Pete
Everything from Blueprint 3 back is gold.
Parsley
I like alot of rap music but find JayZ and Kanye both overrated. Matter of opinion I guess. Plus, I'm old and tend to be stuck on rap circa 1995-2005
Johnnydollaz18
I hate Kanye West, he is awful. I didn't like Yeezus at all. He is better as a producer and on a feature in a remix. He seriously has not been good since his first two albums.
Johnnydollaz18
Listening to the album now and I'm really enjoying it. Ocean with Frank Ocean is becoming my favorite track from the album.
Fuhgeddaboudit
I like the album, but it doesn't wow me at all. But that's how I feel towards every rap album/song these days.
Johnnydollaz18
Holy Grail with JT is growing on me as a favorite also. Very good opening track.
Pete
That's the only decent song on the album, IMO.
