Geez. It's amazing what happens when the all out effort is there. And, as usual, H. L. played over the top when it counted most. Miraculously, #61 scored TWO goals AND played an all around outstanding game. I'm loving' #95 and the entire 4th line.

There was some uneasy defense earlier in the game forcing Hank to come up big on some unnecessary golden opportunities. Yet, beyond that the team played a very fast game, back checked their ass off, jumped into the neutral zone with speed and serious urgency and threw pucks at the net from odd angles with guys in front. They did a lot that has been missing lately, they played a good game and kept Philly on their heels.

 

If anything Shatty did not suck and McD did not look like he had a bad back. Smith jumped into the O at the right times and Nash found his scoring touch. Those things alone are pretty different from the past 30 days.

The first three goals were two breakaways and a deflection in front. Nash's second was from a great angle. The only softy was Grabner's.
