Florida has about 2.5 useful prospects depending how you feel about Hoponiemi.

Borgstrom and 1st? OK, I'm listening.

Could be pick heavy even though Gorton wants an NHL ready prospcet. If Florida misses the playoffs thats a top 15 pick this year, they have Arizona's 2nd which will be 32 or 33, and throw in next years first as well...

I’m just very confused. What did Vegas actually get other than a fourth line goon for eating 50% of brassards contract?

They got a 4th round pick (acquired from Vanc) and Reaves (who Pitt traded a top pick for). So Pitt got to fix a mistake, lol.

You shouldn't have any beef with Rutherford, at least he got the ball rolling and took Brass of the mkt. Rumor was he was their top choice and if it fell through he was ready to use his 1st with the Rangers. And Jersey isn't throwing in the towel, Hall deserves to taste the playoffs.

Start bitchin about Yzerman who needs to beat you on every trade, or the clusterfuck of decision makers in Toronto who are afraid it is "too soon" or Nil who overvalues draft picks or the pussies in the west who just want to keep their jobs and are happy advancing a round or two.

The way im reading it is that Vegas is also only eating half of Brass' salary THIS year. What happens next year? I was unaware teams could do such a thing. Hows that work?
