Nope. They can, sometimes. But a No-Move generally protects from waivers, specifically for assignment to the AHL. I would imagine that in most cases, what we think of as a full NMC is being conflated with a full NTC.

I think a lot of people assumed that his numbers were inflated because of who his line mates were. Which might've been true, but he had to earn a spot on that line ahead of of a lot of talent

Fuck the tank. We got a lot of prospects at the deadline that will be closer to the NHL than anyone we would've picked, and with 3 firsts we can most certainly trade up to another higher pick if we need to.

 

It'd be the stuff of legends if we make the playoffs. Not that I think we could get out of the first round or anything. But I'd rather the team have the mindset that they can win. Losing all the time just leads to a losers mentality.
