Vally was saying something the other day/week about how there's a guy on the team he sees getting a letter soon, but then stopped himself from revealing it. Maybe it's Lindgren?

He said Lindgren will get a letter, but he stopped short of saying how one of the current letters would get freed up.

Kakko and Chytil look good. Laf looks lost

When you watch Laffy's highlights from his junior career, it's full of him deking or muscling by defensemen and sniping sick shots past the goalie. So one can only assume that he hasn't yet adapted to the speed and strength of the NHL level. Let's give him an off-season to adjust his training and come back stronger next season and get his brain more up to the NHL speed of play, so he can put those skills to proper use.

A game like this and you just wish we had one big guy on our roster. Just one that if it came down to it could actually tell the caps to stfu. Lemieux ain’t it.

I was hoping Miller could be that guy, but looks way too kind lol

I guess Lindgren will just tell them himself. He can take a beating from the entire caps roster and still play on.

I’m looking forward to it for sure. He definitely needs time. He’s at his best when he’s actually moving his feet

Lafreniere stared at the puck sitting along the boards with nobody there in the Ranger's zone. I don't know what that was about. Still seems scared to trust instincts.

His entire game is deer in headlights. He's a master of the line change, though.
