Been two solid games against the best team in the division. 6 bad minutes and not great offensively (and the PP brutal), but all in all good games. I think they said Rangers PK are 12-for-12 against Caps this season and 3-1-0 with only a one goal loss.

 

Still a long way to go, but they’re growing and learning. Coming back and winning this game after what happend last night is impressive.

 

Huge goal by Mika too, that and the Flyers game should have him vibing again.

I’d be shocked if it’s not Georgiev. Kinkaid is a decent story but Georgiev looks fine when he doesn’t play too much, like in a backup role. He’s just not an NHL starter

Yeah, probably. Hopefully Shesterkin comes back soon and can get into a rhythm and get the confidence back he had before he got hurt. If he does, whoever the backup is likely won't be playing a ton anyway.

I used to have a fear of needles and would almost pass out. As a young boy I wouldn’t eat certain veggies and my dad would pick up the phone during dinner and make believe he was calling the doctor to bring me in for a vitamin ‘shot.’ Scared me senseless. The fear lasted until I was almost 20. I was at a blood draw and was blacking out and I just forced my mind to win. I convinced myself the fear was BS. Somehow it worked.

When Igor comes back and if he’s fine going forward we’ll need to find a backup. Neither G or K are solid enough. And if Igor isn’t fine? All three need to go.

I really thought the Rangers played pretty poorly and it was annoying to watch. Luck and Zibs individual effort combined with the Caps playing lifeless got them the win. Uninspired victory is 2 points, so whatever.
