The Dude
Barre-Boulet sent down again. Does that mean he has to clear waivers? Justin Bailey was waived.

Valriera
What are the rules around this? Can we claim him for this year? He had to be a geo upgrade until we find an actual solve, right?

Phil
Claiming him means you claim him for the rest of his contract. He has two more years remaining at $6.25 million. There's a reason he's being waived and not traded.
Keirik
Murray has a modified ntc no? Does that make a claim of him subject to working out trade conditions? Not saying for us, but just in general.

Sod16
How the mighty have fallen. Not long ago, Pitts kept him over future HOFer Fleury. Now, no one will take him for a 7th round pick with half salary retained.

Only a fraction of it can be stashed. I don't have the numbers at hands, but around $5 million against the cap, even if he's in the AHL. For both remaining years. Untenable. The Dude
Sharks' Kane clears waivers, will be assigned to AHLhttps://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/2238717 Too bad there's no re-entry waiver claims, like how the Rangers got Avery the 2nd time and Dallas was on the hook for half his contract.. Guys an asshole, but he's a good hockey player when he's on.

Guys an asshole, but he's a good hockey player when he's on. Don't need it. This is what retention is for. The only way the Sharks can even dream to deal him is with it. Possibly even double retention with a third team involved. Quote "From what I heard they're going to do this as a three-way,” Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman said on the Jeff Marek Show last week, “because it's very hard to fit Kane's salary in on a straight-up deal unless you're taking something back that you may not want.” https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/sharks/three-evander-kane-trade-options-sharks-can-realistically-explore
