RichieNextel305 Posted October 17, 2021 Share Posted October 17, 2021 Promising start to the season for Shesterkin. He has looked really good in these 2 games. Good for Lafreniere too. Most I’ve ever seen the kid shoot in a game in the NHL. Very emotional game for him. Hopefully it’s a springboard for him and for that line to get going on the scoreboard. I actually do like all of our players, I just think our team is poorly constructed and lacking skill and I don't think our coach does much. At the end the assistant was doing all of the coaching while Gallant was looking at his piece of paper and staring off into the crowd as he stood at the other end of the bench. Goodrow has been pretty terrible but I have hope he can do better even though I hated the signing. Trouba on the other hand is relentlessly awful. I've come around to your POV on the coach, I talked to some people who know. Gallant may have an IQ of 80. Nice guy, though.
