Yeah, he gave it to him based on an outlier season in which he scored 60 points. That's not actually the player he is, which means he's still not worth it, but he's a damned fine player. It's a real shame the NHL doesn't allow for contract restructuring, because if there was a way to adjust his deal to drop his AAV to $6 million~ he'd be worth trying to keep for the life of it.

I keep thinking that too, Sharpy...but I just have a sneaky feeling this one's gonna be a 2-1 or 3-2 game.  ....Even with Mr. Saggy Diaper in goal.

I would take something like from Georgiev for sure. lol But, both teams are really chugging offensively and getting unsteady goaltending, so I'm not so sure about that low scoring of a game. Either way, this has potential to be a very entertaining game.

This guy is the goalie coach for the Slovak national team. Might be smoke here, we might be seeing Huska in net tonight.

If they were going to play him, I'd rather ease him a bit against a team like Buffalo. With the way Colorado is playing right now, that is not ideal for him if this is the case.

I would just give Geo the full run. The only reasoning behind starting Huska for any game is if Shesterkin is going to be out for much longer than a week.

Unless AG gets injured, there's not reason for playing Huska tonight. AG has a .933 SV%, since Shesty left in the Sharks game. Granted, that's mainly due to the improved NYR defense, but still. AG seems to be getting in the "groove"...
