RichieNextel305
That was as good of a 2nd and 3rd as we’ve seen them play against a good team all year. Maybe would have liked a little bit more of a tighter 2nd, but even still. Very impressive win against a very good team. Definitely a good way to go into this little break.
Sharpshooter
This two weeks with no game crap is going to suck. It's going to feel like the offseason in August. lol I guess they could use a break even after such a huge win. 1
Bugg
Winning vs. the Panthers with 2 great periods without Fox; that's really good. Heal up and get ready for the sprint to the end of the season starting 2/15.
Slobberknocker
statement win. does anyone know if fox is gonna tap out of the all star game. would rather he gets the rest and comes back strong.

We get the Fox back, and we're probably going to make some moves to bolster the roster for the second half...Hopefully sooner than later. Really spirited game against probably the best in the league!!!! Very happy with that game last night!!!

Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuc
Yup Fox is out of the AS game. Kuznetsov took his spot as the guy with 2nd most "last man in" votes.

This argument is akin to arguing Nirvana or Green Day suck because musically they only play 3 or 4 chords and have the depth of a puddle with their music. BUT they are successful so regardless whether you like em or not, if they produce and succeed then the ends justify the means regardless if those agree with how they got there. Idc if they won a cup by scoring all goals off Lafs ass and the the other team forfeited due to COVID. A win is a win is a win. And they are hella fun to watch this year so F the statistics. LETS GO RANGERS!!!

Spectacular way to go into the break, I would say. Lots of Stromer Boners, and Kreider-Love!! I can really get used to efforts like these!!!…and the winning quote for tonight’s GDT goes to @jsrangers, who breaks his cherry to win his first Ozzy Quote of the GDT, watching Marchment pay the price, first hand as Strome massaged his face with the 5-Knuckle-Shuffle!!! Thank you very much, it's a pleasure to be here talking shit with you guys day after day. The banter and cutting edge back and forth is priceless. 1

LETS GO RANGERS!!! I agree with this philosophy for playoffs because it's a race to 16 wins and then you're done. In the regular season, the record is the record but how you win matters. Benefitting from schedule, fortuitous COVID matchups, rarely giving the requisite effort for 60 mins, relying on the PP and needing superhuman goaltending to win, while getting nothing from your RW or bottom 6 does not bode well for the playoffs. Whistles get put away, depth is required, and you won't get away with playing 2/3 of the game. Now what they do have going for them is the big 5, Igor, and they don't lie down. They're never out of a game, even down by a goal or 2. But enhancements are needed if they're going to make a serious run. Ozzy
The good news is that we have some time to get our shit together. And I think you have it pretty spot on, Pete! The playoffs to me are a new and different season. Edited February 3, 2022 by Ozzy
