Agreed. Easily could have folded like a cheap tent going into the third, but they battled.

 

Still work to do here to nail down these 2 points. But very happy with the way they came out here in the 3rd.

I have to say, having played, coached and parented hockey my entire life, I love a good fight…okay, even a bad one…but this thing about dropping the gloves after a good body check is just stupid…What’s next? Dropping the gloves when you score a pretty goal to protect your goalie’s reputation?  What happened to the good old days when you took the guy’s number and you made him uncomfortable for the rest of the game no knowing when it was going to come…but he knew it was coming…might be a fight…or just a payback body check…
