This is such a no-brainer of a trade. It's an upgrade over any player in their bottom-6 right now and for a 4th?

Not bad, not bad.  10 goals this year. Gives some depth and can slide up and down the lineup. Ufa at the end of the year.

Yup. Playing LW for Florida, so probably a third line player for them, but if he can play the right, he can easily bump Hunt out and ride shotgun to Bread and Butter.

First thought was of Florida clearing space for maybe someone like Giroux. Which is fine, because them handing Vatrano over for nothing also helps us. Plus we have cap space and prospects to dive in the deep end ourselves. But again, good move by Drury. Real no brainer move.

He does most of his scoring at EV too so there’s that. Very good trade while giving up very little.
