I think the issue here is it's the right message for the wrong audience. This information is incredibly valuable for NHL players and soon-to-be NHL players. It's far less valuable, or useful, for fans. In effect, this needs to be addressed to the players themselves through the PA, not pumped out into the public discourse on Twitter where it's next to impossible to divorce it from the "here's why millionaires aren't actually as rich as you think they are," lens so many read it through — whether that was Pronger's intention or not.
