“They told me between periods, ‘Do you want them back?’ And I said no, I need them back next week. I hate to see it, but I’d [rather] be cautious than not have them when the games really matter.”

This should be a fun one tonight with all the different faces in there!   Maybe Yukon gets some extended PP1 time....and a Zac sighting!!!

I have Gauthier for at least 5 dents in the glass!   I'm ready!!!

...oh and Trivia is Guy Lafleur

Pu-lease sit Fox and Lindgren.  Jones has been out of the NHL far too long.

I expect a better effort from the black aces than we would have gotten from the regulars.

Can we import all of Hartford for the Washington game?

Lines are gonna be thrown into a blender tonight.

can you imagine if Kreider gets hurt... "But he had a chance to play 82 games" we might be facing DeSmith round 1 we're cup contenders this is a dumb reason to risk someone getting steamrolled by Romanov

Obviously he's going for 54 not 82.

We still have a variety of things to root for tonight and next game:

Lafreniere -> 20 goals

Goodrow -> 15 goals

Kakko -> 10 goals/20 points

Chytil -> 10 goals/25 points

Hunt -> extending career high 5 goal mark

Gauthier -> 10 stuffed breakaways

Reaves -> 50 PIM

McKegg -> -8 plus/minus

Georgiev -> 1 goal or 1 assist (for us)

I understand they don't want guys to get hurt, but I don't see how you said a guy going for a record like that.

Yeah I'm with you on this one. We're talking about being this close to a record for a franchise that's been in existence for nearly 100 years. Opportunities like that don't come around often. Unless he's battling a niggling injury, I fully expected him to suit up tonight.

Wouldn't surprise me if Gallant told Kreider he'd like to sit him for the playoffs, but left it up to him to play if he wanted to.

that's my guess too, I'm pretty confident if Kreider wanted in he would be in.
