2021-22 ECQF #4: (2M) Rangers at (3M) Pittsburgh Penguins — Bringing it Back Around

Recommended Posts

Aside from the first 5:00, that was all PIT. Not good, and the loss of Kreider could be series changing. Still, managed to get through the period 1-1. Rangers really need to dig deep and pull a ton out in the next period cause man they're getting completely outplayed by PIT.

Kreider either got it in the chin or neck.

Getting outmuscled by a team that isn't all that physical.

Getting NOTHING from Zib, Strome and Panarin. SHOOT THE GODAMN PUCK. WHY IS THIS SO HARD?

Not testing the AHL goalie.

Lucky to be 1-1

Bounces and fluke goals should be a reminder; SHOOT THE PUCK. The chaos a shot creates makes for scoring chances. Zib and Panarin playing for that wind up off wing slapper that usually misses needs to stop and simply take a hard accurate shot instead.

That was never going to be a difficult decision for me.

On the PP, Strome simply have to have his stick on the ice and he has an open net. That's how it PP works since hockey was invented, and he cannot do that.
