Should’ve been a penalty but let’s be real. We should’ve been closing this team out. And they’ve blown it. Again.

im worried about this team

Yep they were finding a way to lose this game after giving one up 14 seconds into the third. #NoHeart

3 goals on 8 shots in the 3rd??

If that’s the case then it’s on the coach and it’s time to think about firing him.

May be too soon. But this is the same shit that went bad under Quinn- lack of focus, failure to go to the net, weak in front of their own net. Drury's trade options are really restrained by the contracts and the cap.

That team we just lost to has so much heart. So much. Maybe something could be learned, because this fucking team has absolutely none.

I don't even think the Islanders are that bad, but someone the Rangers should beat more often than not. It's par for the course for these games, with how the Islanders are anyway.

No heart. None.

Learn from what you just played, because your neighbors just made you their bitch.

Just unacceptable. Something needs to change here. Our stars just don’t give a flying fuck right now. The only time I saw push was once it was 4-3 and we had a goalie pulled.

This teams team defense is just god awful.

Pretty funny because the Rangers dominated the even strength advanced stats again (unlike last year), but when it comes to what matters they are on the losing side again (also unlike last year). So, so strange. It's the various mental lapses, half-assed plays like Trouba's clearing attempt on that last NYI goal as a prime example, that are just absolute killers.

It's still only 14 games in, but tell you what...if the next 14 go the same way as the first 14 in terms of not doing some pretty basic things like protecting a 2 goal lead in the 3rd, Gallant's seat is going to get pretty warm with the expectations this team had going into the season.
