QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“It was pretty fun. I can’t tell you the last time something like that’s happened, but the puck was finding me. Couple good bounces. Like I said, can’t complain.”

I'm looking forward to hearing Sam's insightful stories about his conversations this morning with former Rangers Derek Stepan, Jesper Fast and Brady Skjei and how they fondly look back at their years with the Rangers and what a world class organization and staff they have here in New York.

MSG should just paste this comment into the telecast chiron and tell Sam to skip these stories.

In spite of all the ‘regulars’ our opponents were missing during the weekend games, you know those were games we could have embarrassingly lost, right? But a hearty NO! to that while we kicked ass.

Those wins were much needed to let the boys feel the flow, gain confidence and see for themselves that our guns do have bullets and that it’s all not wet powder.

Test. Test. The next run of games will provide us with ample opportunity to hone our sabre for the playoffs. Do it. Let’s go. LFGR!

Stepan guaranteed to light us up for a goal.

I'll never forget his goal to beat the Caps in game seven of OT.  The reaction of Henrik later, and then the replay of Ovi's face on the bench.  I know 1994 was huge but that might be my favorite Ranger goal of all time.  Can't watch it enough.

Tough prospect for Carolina I think (I hope?).  First of all they cannot simply stop playing that ridiculous high press with which they have been so successful, yet the Rangers are particularly dangerous right now on odd man breakouts.

That is how we beat them last time and this Rangers team right now is better than that one on the evidence of the last few games.

I'm pretty sure that Harpur was playing better than Mikkola but I'd imagine we'll see some regular roster adjustments with those two as the season winds down.

And more importantly I won't hear the fucking Richola commercial in my head everytime they say his name. Man's gotta have his priorities!

The only thing he's guaranteed to do is be completely unnoticeable. If you told me he retired from the NHL in 2020, I'd believe you. Guy has 35 points over the last three seasons combined.
