At what point do we put the blame for this sad performance on the players? Gallant, or any head coach would not coach his players to NOT show up. Someone needs to step up, and make a statement. So far, nobody is stepping up, and that needs to change.

Players got away with not showing up during the regular season, it’s just a bad habit that they can seldom drop…

To me it’s that Gallant isn’t changing up the power play which is 0-6 last six times with man advantage. That the difference in this game and why the Rangers aren’t up 3-0 in the series

Devils have the Rangers PP figured out   Why is Gallant to stubborn to change

I feel like he did change it. It's based more on Fox squeezing a shot through from the point, rather than the east west cross ice passes setting up the off wing one timers. Panarin is taking the off wing shot from the left, but from too far out.

Why would he change something that worked so well just because they couldn’t score last game?

Panarin and Zibanejad with 0 goals against a no-name goalie is the problem here, not Gallant.

It worked well in first two games and Devils made adjustments. Gallant has to make adjustments of his own

0-7, weren't they 0-5 in Game 3, and 0-2 so far tonight

If the Rangers can’t find their tougher physical side, this will end in 6 with the Rangers on the short end.  Plant Hughes a few times and these guys will wilt.  Play the Devils’ game which is what they’re doing now and get the golf clubs out.

He doesn't have to change anything up. These players are professionals, and know what they are supposed to do. They just need to go out and do it.
