Kakko needs to be on the right boards and not thrown in the bumper spot. PP2 needs to see more starting time throughout the year.

Several key factors make it look like they are envisioning him as the 3rd pair LD, the one way deal and 2 years. I din't know why Gallant didn't use Miller on PP2 over Trouba. Not only is Miller more offensively gifted than Trouba but he has the foot speed to recover if the puck bounces past him.

The Dude
Good for Jones. Wish they didn't waste year one of his ELC. There was really no need to rush him in, just to hold him down the following 2 years.
Albatrosss
Another vanilla, neither here nor there defenseman. Better than AHLer, not good enough as NHLer
RangersIn7
I don’t understand the how and why behind it when any of us act like we are experts in hockey scouting or that young, inexperienced kids, who are still very much learning, developing and growing into themselves as NHL players can somehow not improve. This might be unrelated or a bit out of left field…. But Ole Anderson… an original member of the Four Horseman, who knew the business inside and out and had a many decades long career as an in-ring talent and booker, to an extremely high-level, drew tons of many, was universally respected and had tons of success… he once told Mark Callaway.., better known as The Undertaker..get this… THAT NO ONE WOULD EVER PAY TO SEE HIM WRESTLE. Long story short… He’s the Fucking Undertaker now. It just takes time and coaching and mentoring.

Phil
Quote It is believed that the Rangers think Jones has outgrown the American Hockey League, which means the offense-minded blueliner should be given every opportunity to establish himself as a full-time NHL player next season. https://nypost.com/2023/06/16/zac-jones-two-year-deal-lights-path-to-rangers-lineup/ 1
