Barring roster changes I would go

PP1 Kreider, Zibs, Kakko, Panarin & Fox

PP2 Lafraniere, Trochek, Chytil, Jones & Miller

I’d be OK with this depending on deployment. Kakko needs to be on the right boards and not thrown in the bumper spot. PP2 needs to see more starting time throughout the year.

He's an immediate upgrade on PP2 over Trouba if he makes the team.  Several key factors make it look like they are envisioning him as the 3rd pair LD, the one way deal and 2 years.

I din't know why Gallant didn't use Miller on PP2 over Trouba. Not only is Miller more offensively gifted than Trouba but he has the foot speed to recover if the puck bounces past him.

I don’t understand the how and why behind it when any of us act like we are experts in hockey scouting or that young, inexperienced kids, who are still very much learning, developing and growing into themselves as NHL players can somehow not improve.

This might be unrelated or a bit out of left field….

But Ole Anderson… an original member of the Four Horseman, who knew the business inside and out and had a many decades long career as an in-ring talent and booker, to an extremely high-level, drew tons of many, was universally respected and had tons of success… he once told Mark Callaway.., better known as The Undertaker..get this…

THAT NO ONE WOULD EVER PAY TO SEE HIM WRESTLE.

Long story short… He’s the Fucking Undertaker now.

It just takes time and coaching and mentoring.
