Could do it at ES too. Many players made a career out of it. Why not adapt the game plan to having Kreider (or a variety of players, ie Laf, Wheeler, Trocheck, Cuylle..) planted in front of the net? It doesn't have to just be a PP to accomplish this.

LOL…Kreider won’t go in front even up…you get hit by defensemen 5 on 5….on the PP they leave that guy open…Kreider not big on the physical part of the game despite the delusional claims to the contrary by the announcers…

Meh. Kreider has his moments.  He had a season orv2 when he really was a physical force. That was a long time ago.

Kreider certainly could be more engaged physically. But I'm not going to say he is always avoiding contact or never initiates it. He's usually among the tops on the team in hits. The stat never really rings true as an indicator of actual physical play,  but it does suggest a player isn't just sitting back.

Is Ryan Strome still with the Ducks?

The same Ryan Strome that played for the Rangers?

He must be out of the lineup tonight.

If you want, im sure there are some Anaheim Ducks boards you can discuss Ryan Strome on. 🙂

LGR!

That is what I love about Goodrow…old school…take the guy’s number and strategically find your moment to strike…now ducks are out of it for the rest of the game…beautiful….i’ve had enough of these modern hockey players with no mental toughness who have to retaliate right away when someone gives them a good check…
