Maybe there are other penalties involved but this bullshit where every time somebody hits somebody hard they have to fight is ridiculous. You get rid of it by handing out instigator penalties to the guys who come flying in looking for a fight and roughing penalties for the guys who come flying in with a glove to the face. delneggs Posted December 24, 2023 Share Posted December 24, 2023 NHL should change the penalty for challenging a guy to a fight just because he delivered a good, hard, legal check to 5 game suspension for 1st offence and you would see that crap stop.
