Again, not saying it would be a tilt-the-ice runaway like this looks like it might be. But we would not have lost a 7-game series against the Oilers. Edmonton has been rattled with Bob. They would have been with Igor too. And not that Edmonton’s defense isn’t up to snuff, but if we could have solved Carolina and Florida, we would have solved them too. This was a missed opportunity for sure. Florida dominated game 2 in a way the Rangers are not capable of doing. The Oilers played a good game tonight outside a few critical mistakes that cost them.
