Goodrow, Nemeth, deadline trades that ultimately haven't really worked out (Copp/Vatrano year 1 was solid, but ultimately how many assets have been dumped the last 3 years?). But the point is he has still invested a shit ton in trying to win with guys he never picked or signed. He has to know when to stop, or it will rightfully sink him.
