The dollar amount is in significant in terms of difference, I'm sure they can work that out. After the season he had, he doesn't have a ton of leverage. He’s foolish IMO for not compromising some and taking a deal that the Rangers preferred rather than chasing what he wanted. Im all for players cashing in and getting all they can…. Theres a great story about Hank Aaron running into Tom Ramsey who was a journeyman QB and jumped to the USFL in the 80’s. Aaron knew who he was from a newspaper article and said to him… “Glad you took the money. Always take the money. Cause they don’t give a fuck about you.” But not in Lindgren’s case.
